Continuing with my screen printing, I feel that I’m finally getting somewhere and producing clean useable prints. It was pointed out to me that being too tentative will show in my work. Trying to produce perfect prints appropriate for my final collection has been causing me a few issues and I’ve been working in a way that is not my usual practice. By letting go a bit, things are starting to come together.
I’ve been working with these screens and these particular motifs for a few weeks now and am feeling that they may be resolved. I have a sketchbook absolutely bursting with lovely images which I want to explore and so it’s almost time to move on. New development challenges to come…..!
