Drawing …

I had decided during the summer that I’d practice my drawing and try to develop my skills.  Luckily, the summer project turned out to be drawing items which we found interesting with texture, colour, structure etc.  This floral drawing was inspired by my own photograph of flowers in my house.  I used a fine liner on brown paper and overall, I’m pleased with the results.  What I like more than anything though, is the overlaid stylised sharpie sketch.  I thing that the two images could be meshed together to form a really interesting design.  I also love, love, love, the circular view finder….
